The Aoneblast Helmet Air Filter is designed to remove condensate, oil, mist, and up to 98% of particles having a size of 0.5 microns or less from regular air. The Aoneblast Breathing Air Filter is employed, alongside with other safeguards, for providing clean air to the blast hood. The Aoneblast air filter comprises of pressure reducing valve which helps to reduce the pressure to the requirements of supplied air respirators, providing the inlet pressure does not exceed 8.6 bar (125 PSI).
The Air Filter is placed in between the air source and the respirator supply hose. The Aoneblast Air Filter is the attachment point for the respirator hose. Air enters the filter through one of the inlet ports. Moisture is removed by extension in the outer chamber and is removed via a petcock at the bottom of the unit. The air passes through a replaceable filter cartridge. The outlet pressure is regulated through a regulator on the cap and is determined by a gauge downstream from the cartridge.
A filter only needs to be bought once. The cartridge alone is subject to regular replacement. A filter can be additionally equipped for operation by two or more operators up to 6 members.
